Dear Jim,

Hi Jim

Just wanted to drop you a note to say a big thank you for the top job you did for Jenessa's party on Friday.

The kids were completely captivated and Jenessa had a lovely time and said she didn't want her party to end!

I said I was never doing a party again after all the organising and hassle but after seeing them having such a great time it was all worth it!

A mum stopped me at the gate at school and said her little boy had such a great time and was raving about the show all weekend!

Hi Jim

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for entertaining at Alex’s party on Sunday.

The children just adored the show – you have been the talk of the Year in the playground all week.

Alex was delighted with the plate spinning that you helped him with and loved all of the balloon shapes that you made for his friends.

As a parent, this is the first party that we have had that has been totally stress free. You kept the kids engaged and laughing for the full two hours which meant we could enjoy the day as much as Alex did so a big thank you once again.

Thanks for a great job.

Everyone said what a fantastic day they had and the grandchildren were absolutely mesmerised by you.

The kids were all so well behaved and I was very proud of them.

I would certainly recommend you if any of my friends are looking for a similar entertainer for the future; but I doubt that you are ever short of work - you have a great way with children and a super personality and you are very good at your trade.

About Jim's Magic Kids Party Entertainer

 

Education

Jim was born in Durham and after a short stay in London his parents moved to Cambridge where he spent the rest of his childhood. He took his degree in Sunderland where he studied Psychology which was followed by a post graduate course in Drama at The Drama Studio in London.

Career

Jim was a professional actor for five years before he joined the London Ambulance Service and served as a paramedic until 2000. He turned professional in 2001 and has made his living through performing as a professional magician ever since.

As an actor he worked extensively in Theatre in Education, performing in schools all over the United Kingdom. He also worked in children's shows in major theatres including the Lyric Hammersmith and The Manchester Library Theatre. In the latter he played a number of roles in Merlin the Magnificent and the Adventures of Arthur (a photograph is shown below).

Kids Party Magician

Jim has performed at literally thousands of Childrens Party Shows all over the UK as well as Canada and the USA. Well over half his work comes from referrals and recommendations and he is proud to make his living exclusivley through magic..

Jim is now a children's entertainer in Welwyn Garden City, performing family magic shows in herts and the surrounding counties. He started ten years ago dooing kids parties in Watford and hasn't looked back since.
